Yes, lab testing is often a part of the personalized wellness plan. A separate fee will be charged by the lab company for any lab testing ordered. Some labwork may be covered by your insurance plan.

Can you order lab testing?

High quality supplements that we use and recommend for our very own family and friends are in our Fullscript formulary. There is a discount built in for our patients that use the Fullscript formulary. We will send a link for the specific supplements recommended in Fullscript for convenience. Patients are not required to use supplements and are free to purchase recommended supplements from other retailers. However, you can be sure that the supplements recommended in the Fulllscript formulary are of the highest quality available.

Do you recommend supplements?

Currently, we do not bill insurance directly. We can provide you with an insurance document (superbill) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Insurance plans may reimburse a percentage of the total cost for out of network providers. Please check your insurance plans for specifics. We are unable to inquire about your specific insurance plan. Payment for services is due at the time of service or prior to services in the case of memberships. We accept all major credit cards. In many cases we can accept HSA and FSA cards. It is important to confirm with your health insurance company that you can use your FSA and HSA cards for services provided by a Nurse Practitioner.

Do you take insurance?

Lily Sage Health is an integrative health consulting practice. Our services are provided in addition to the care that you receive from your primary care provider, not as a replacement. All visits at this time are done via telemedicine so it is important that you see your primary care provider once every 12 months for an in person annual exam. If it is not appropriate to treat your conditions via telemedicine or with integrative and functional medicine, I will refer you back to your primary care provider to be evaluated and treated. We cannot provide care for any urgent or emergent conditions.

Why do you require patients to have a primary care provider?

At this time, we can treat patients in the state of Nevada. We are planning to expand to California and New Mexico soon.

In what states can you treat patients?

A nurse practitioner (np) is a licensed health care provider who can diagnose and treat health conditions and is trained to emphasize health promotion and disease prevention. NPs view individuals as a whole person and similarly view health in a comprehensive way and bring a personal caring touch to health care. In addition to diagnosing, treating, and prescribing, we are also trained to counsel, educate and guide patients in lifestyle practices that can lead to improved health outcomes. NPs are also trained to care for patients guided by evidenced based practice which is integrating the best research evidence into clinical practice. All NPs complete a masters or doctoral program after their initial registered nurse program. Many NPs have years of practice experience as a registered nurse prior to becoming an NP. NP training includes clinical training and didactic coursework to practice in primary care, acute care and long-term care settings. NPs maintain national certification in their specialty and adhere to a nursing code of conduct which is determined by individual states.

Yes, NP’s can prescribe prescription medications when it is appropriate. Prescriptions will be sent directly to your pharmacy of choice.

Are NP’s able to prescribe medications if needed?

Please allow at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment to cancel or change your appointment. Appointments are paid for at time of booking and in advance for memberships. If you provide 48 hours’ notice prior to changing or canceling your appointment, your payment will be transferred to your next appointment. If you do not show up for your appointment or have a late cancellation, we are unable to provide a refund.
